Welcome to Authentic Presence
Being Seen is a simple yet powerful process that helps us to feel more comfortable – whether we’re speaking in front of a group or just wanting to express ourselves in a more confident and authentic way in any situation.
When we attend a Being Seen workshop, it’s an invitation to ‘Be Who We Really Are’, supported by a small group of others who offer unconditional positive regard. That’s an environment where magic can happen.
Being Seen is really about love. It’s about loving ourselves unconditionally, loving others more and loving life more.
It’s about shedding the layers we may have built up over many days and years and perhaps even lifetimes that have led us to where we are now.
What makes it difficult to be our authentic selves with others?
Often, we think there’s something wrong with us. We’re not good enough. In our minds, we don’t compare well or measure up; that’s the lie we’ve bought into.
Attending a Being Seen workshop can open the doorway into a sense of ease with our uniqueness – an invitation to express more of the magnificence of who we are!

Who is behind Being Seen?
Here’s what Andy Collett, the creator of Being Seen, had to say:
“For much of my early life, I felt that I really couldn’t express myself in a way that felt true for me. I even got a tattoo that said (in ancient Chinese script) ‘Be Who You Really Are’ as a constant reminder to myself to be brave and show myself to the world.
However, for much of the time I was too worried about what other people thought of me. I had a deep desire to wear clothes that were unconventional for a guy to be seen wearing. I judged myself as a fraud for not doing so.
My heart yearned to be more ‘out there’ but it just seemed easier to hide in my corporate suit, pretending to be normal (whatever that is). Then, I discovered (to my great surprise and delight) that the thing I judged myself for, the very aspect that I felt guilt and shame around, was actually a source of fun and joy for me.
One of the keys to my own self-acceptance was being seen and accepted by others. The very thing that I made myself wrong for seemed to be the thing that others found most interesting about me!
So here I am now, reaching out to the world, offering people the opportunity to experience unconditional positive regard from others.
It’s a wonderfully gentle yet, for many, very powerful process.”
What might be possible?
Feedback from participants indicates that this workshop can help to promote psychological health and wellbeing.
In an age of anxiety, stress and comparison, there’s never been a greater need for a place of stillness where people can meet themselves and appreciate their inner world.
